Always something new and educational Even though we have been to Leid's Discovery Museum many times, my kids never get tired of it and they always something new and exciting to do. Lots of hands on exhibits, we especially like the mock city on the lower level where the kids get to open a pretend bank account and go shopping, very educational. great for everyone This museum is absoluetly wonderful. It is a great experience for children to learn about history. The price is well worth it and very affordable. I will continue to tell people to visit this great place and I will continue to come back!
The Lied Discovery Children's Museum My son loves going to this museum. There are so may educational and fun activities. There is anything from experimenting with bubbles and shadows, to a toddler section full of shapes and mining activities, to a stage where the children can dress up and perform. It is a little bit older now, but the staff is nice and there are so many quality learning experiences.
Tons of Fun The Lied Discovery Childrens Museum is a great place to take your kids or your grandkids. It is a place where they can go and play and have fun and learn about things and how they work at the same time. It makes for a great fun afternoon. And it in the same building as the library if you want to stop by and get some books to learn more about what they have done. It makes for a great day without driving through out the city.
FUN A great and fun place to take your kids to have fun. The museum is not far from the Natrual history Museum. Not in the best part of town. The inside is clean and great for kids
Fun for kids I have been to a lot of childrens museums in different states, so I wasn't really impressed with the one in Las Vegas. It seemed dirty and there were not a lot of things to do. It was fine for my daughter and I think she had a great time, but this is probably one of the worst I've been to, comparitively. Of course the problem is that Las Vegas only has 1 Childrens Museum, so you don't have a choice. At least it wasn't expensive.
Great Leaning Experience I have great memories of field trips to this museam when I was younger. Many exciting ways to learn about normally boring subjects. The prices to get in are also very reasonable.
Inexpensive fun and learning for kids! My daughter loves this place!! She is not a big fan of science normally, but the Lied Discovery Museum presents it in a way that makes it fun to learn. There are many hands on exhibits that let the kids get involved with it. No matter how many times we have been there, my daughter never gets tired of it. Good place for kids We recently took our daughter & niece to this museum. They explored and were amazed at everything. The price is definitely worth it. Our teenagers even enjoyed themselves. Good place for out of town youngsters.
