My daughter is a student at Loyola and we HAVE to go to Lickity Split every time we visit her. The custard to to die for and the baked goods are delicious, too! A fun retro place!
I live on the far south side. I think of excuses to go up north to stop there. It is the best
Five star review for free custard. They haven't offered me free custard for this review. But the fact that I would rate them 5 stars for the mere possibility that I would get free custard in spite of them never offering this -- that should tell you how much I love this place.
I have waited for SO LONG to try Lickity Split, but it was worth the wait!! First tried the Edgewater location because I couldn't wait for the one by my house to open. Fell in love with it since my first step inside! All the old candy that used to be around when I was kid! The yogurt is yummy and they change up one of the flavors every month. Give it a try you won't be sorry! If I could give it 10 stars I would!
