Their recent decision to not supply Narcan kits to Trish with Newark Homeless Outreach is unacceptable. She is able to get those kits to people most in need. When this dept is allowing deaths to happen,when there could be an opportunity to keep someone alive long enough to recover,is shameful. Your disagreement over the needle exchange does not allow you to refuse Narcan. Plz educate yourself, it’s not your place to judge,it’s your place to help save lives.
This health department doesn’t care about all of it’s citizens. Implement a syringe exchange and make narcan easier to get. You are helping to kill people. You are helping to spread infectious diseases. Do the right and just thing.
