Worst experience ever. Took my dad there for 88th birthday. waited over 45 minutes after ordering for food, they waitress kept blaming it on salmon. ordered pork chop meal way over cooked, told waitress she says that's the way they do it. Ordered chicken enchiladas they gave us cheese. Waitress checked to see if her mistake or kitchen, it was kitchen, she then says I was going to take off difference of $1 for chicken verses cheese but I took off $3 and will pay it out of my own pocket. we asked to speak to manager she says s... read more

Ordered takeout didn't receive what we ordered. Ordered a 61 combo didn't receive my enchilada. Also ordered a Najavo taco they asked if we wanted beef, I said yes and paid the extra well no beef. To me that's not the worst part. The food is bland no flavor. I have found that a good Mexican food restaurant has good beans. I ordered the bean burro it had no flavor. Tried dipping in the salsa to get some flavor. The salsa some of the worst I've ever had. I should have went to taco bell at least I would have gotten decent food ... read more

RecommendedI can't recall how long I have been eating there, but during my four-year stint as Director of the Show Low Chamber - just down the street from Licano's - I ate there on an average of 5 days a week minimum...not just because it was close but because the food was consistently amazing. That was 2002 - 2007; when I left the chamber I never left Licano's - the service, the food - all amazing; truly one of my favorite places on the Mountain to eat!
