No office in town this year so they're running out of a barrie office and get everything done and paid for over the phone. Jessica and her team did great 👍
Tax office closed. When you call phone number you speak to someone in Barrie. She says she can do your taxes over the phone. Very suspicious
Two years ago, I had my 2021 taxes prepared by Liberty Tax Services, here in North Bay. In the fall, I realized I was not receiving any government subsidies, that I knew I was entitled to. I tried calling the company several times, with no answer. I left messages until the box was full. I went to the office only to see a note on the door saying they had moved. Filed with them and asked for a tax summary and for them to double check everything I sent was correctly filed, as I have no paper referencing anything and if I had a summary….it would show me what was filed. All I have is a paper stating my total income for the year. Ofcourse never heard back only to call reception to find out the person who did my taxes no longer works there. I was told by a gentleman that they would get back to me and have yet to hear back. When I call no one ever picks up, this is very unprofessional!
We have dealt with them for many years, knowing our taxes are done properly and filed accordingly. Fast forward to this year, new location, new staff. Paying good money to have them efile my return, and they knowingly decided to not file it for another 2 weeks without asking. Only reason I didnt give it 0 stars is because the young woman who was doing our taxes was very friendly and professional (she rates 5/5 stars for doing her job) I wonder if it's really worth having lost 2 loyal customers as a result....
