my house has been insured for over 40 yrs with liberty as well as numerous cars at the same time. Ive paid the bills with MY checks for over 10 yrs, and soon as my mother passed, I put the policy in my name. some hamster brained agent that called to switch the information to combine the house and car evidently wrote down that I claimed I was going to have construction done because I said, in chatting, that I hoped to have new front windows put in ....... when asked if i wanted to change anything on the policy i said NO! i di... read more

Liberty Mutual is a junk insurance company backed by big money, fraud, and stealing money from their customers. If your intelligent you won't choose a company where they run on lies and greed. They also have a connection to the court system which guarantees there victory against the customer.

Like so many customers and adjusters and service providers, who are privately acknowledging their difficulties in getting bills paid from Liberty Mutual ,I am starting some very public discussion of how and why Liberty Mutual has gotten into some very deceptive and unfortunate management policies.. The Boston Globe and the Better Business Bureau provide some excellent history on a good company gone greedy and in need of consumer protection.
