Found bed bugs in our bed at 8:00 in the evening notified the front desk I told us they would do what they could to get us another room stay up all night because we did not get in the bed with the bed bugs spoke with the manager the next morning he told us he was sorry he would let the exterminator now once we checked out ask him about staying another night and doing some kind of deal on the room he said No we were not allowed to stay because the bedbugs are spread to that room.
We love this hotel for the history and charm of days gone by. Beautifully decorated but loosing the little details that make it top-notch. All different brands of shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap. Looked cheap for such a beautiful location. It could use a refresh in the paint department. The walls were scuffed and stained in areas. Hotel room was cute and the staff was nice but that's about where the good stuff ends. Firstly we got to our room and none of our lamps in the room worked. Fine whatever. Then the shower is one of the coldest showers with the lowest pressure I've ever seen in a hotel.

We checked in a went to an event. At 9:45, the first thing was the was expired chicken salad in the fridge, I threw it out. Then, I was sitting on my bed about a hour when I noticed a bug on the pillow. I killed it with a Kleenex and chalked it up to a random bug. About 40 minutes later there was another one I tried to kill it with the same Kleenex and blood splattered on the sheets.
