Post surgical complication of infection was handled poorly. When the incision site dehissed the 2nd time it was not given attention that was needed. A third surgery was needed to repair what was supposed to be a simple procedure to relieve arthriticpain. Hoping the 3rd procedure is the last.
Highly disappointed. Wish the clinicians would listen and treat the patient as a whole, not just the joint. When we tell you our QoL is tanking, and I’ve considered amputation at this point, the last thing you want to hear your liberty ortho doc say is there’s nothing he can do for you. Also, if this clinic wants to empower their patients and allow informed shared decision making when it comes to their health, might I mention how crucial a patient portal would be? Dr. Niemann totally replaced both my knees Dec. 2024 & June 2024 6 months apart. He recommended MAKO Robotic surgery and scheduled my CT-SCAN and discussed the ROM-TEC Exercise cycling machine. By using it 5 times a day for 3 weeks-I only needed 8 weeks of therapy. The entire Liberty Hospital staff & Navigator Teams were extremely professional and the nurses and follow-up proved to be superior. I would certainly recommend Dr. Buemann for joint replacement. No pain-no Limp. Thank you. All.
