Dr. Buscemi's exams (had 2 with her) were both rushed and not thorough. She did not examine my full body during what was supposed to be full body skin exams. Both exams were rushed and not at all comprehensive.
What a mess..he in office couldn’t confirm insurance (never had problem before). Instead of him checking I had to. Waited and waited, didn’t hear back. Called he said they didn’t call, checked, they did..wasted my time. Fast appointment. Told unfriendly staff don’t send prescription to old pharmacy, but new one I gave them. In front of me, she said she changed it…waited long time, heard nothing..pharmacy didn’t get it..called , he said they sent it…waited, pharmacy didn’t get it..called again someone said “will send again.” ... read more

I have been going to Dr. Buscemi for many years and she is courteous, professional and an overall outstanding doctor. She has been able to diagnose and treat all of my dermatology problems. I would highly recommend her to everyone!!
Told me the name of my condition but did not make any suggestion about treatment until I told her that I could not walk around with it like that at which time she prescribed a medication but did not suggest a follow-up visit. I got the distinct feeling that because I am a heavy, elderly woman, she did not feel I belonged in her chic upper east side office or else she was just moving in a fog that day as though she had received some terrible news. A different dr. later solved the issue.. .
