Dr. Spano took the time to listen to me and I believe she understood what my concerns were. She also took the time to ease my apprehensions explain my options, which I absolutely appreciated. I give Dr. Spano 4 stars. The scheduler, however, at least in the cardiology department at the Berkeley Heights office, is probably the most rude and unprofessional office person I have ever dealt with. Dr. Spano-Brennan has gone above and beyond to try to figure out why my blood pressure is high without trying to prescribe lots of drugs to get it under control. She is compassionate about the fact that I am trying not to take a lot of medication and has spent time explaining how the meds work to me. Highly recommend her!
Was referred by my GP but couldn’t get appt for about 6 months. When it finally came around, doc had an emergency that day and the next available appt was 6 weeks later. Office then called 3x to keep moving the appt earlier in the day—ended up with a 7:30am appt time, which is a little nuts but I accepted it. Just heard that they need to reschedule me again, for 8 weeks later. Called the office to ask why and they rudely said that the doctors schedule had changed. No apology or anything.
