I've been a patient of Dr. Chen's since 2016 after I had to have surgery on my spinal cord due to an accident. She's been great helping me diagnose issues and overall has helped me work to keep off major meds and avoid additional surgery. She's a good listener and a very caring doctor. Highly recommended.
Very caring clinician who imparts information to patients in a simple, straight-forward manner. Perhaps most importantly: She LISTENS. My wife and I saw her for the first time today. Highly impressed with her professionalism and demeanor. She answered our questions fully and advised on next steps, which we embrace. Also have to praise Mercedes and Laurie at the front desk. They are customer focused in every way. Cannot recommend this practice enough.
Dr. Chen was very brief and indifferent to me. She said, "you have dementia" and left the room. It turns out I have a condition called hydrocephalus, a very serious brain malady caused by excess fluid on the brain and curable by surgery. How this woman got to be a doctor is beyond me...
Poor communication skills. Extremely frustrating. I went to see this doctor. Never got in touch with my results and I called many times, faxed my papers and emailed and no return calls. 3 weeks later they fed me an excuse saying the fax machine was not working. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning here again.
No stars if I could give. Heartless and cold the hospital and Dr,Chen lied to our family. Legal action is now against this doctor and the hospital she is affiliated with.
