I purchased a new car two days ago. At least three different people signed off on the ******** took it home. They called the next morning and said that they were wrong about the discount they gave me and they needed to change the deal that I signed off on which had taken hours. My 80-year-old dad, whos on his 6th Lexus (different dealership) was flabbergasted. I brought the car back. They tried to meet me in the middle on a new deal. In the past year I have had 2 experiences with Lexus of Marin that makes me thinks they are trying to take advantage to people. Both times are was given outrageous prices by the service department. The first time I had a flat tire - long story short the service rep told me I need $3,000.00 to repair my car and replace all my tires. I told them "no thank you". Then they wanted to charge me approx $200.00 for evaluating the car. I brought it in with a flat I am sure what needed evaluation. I had it repaired - it cost $50.00. T... read more

Am disappointed with the way my payment for service was handled. After my service was performed and paid for, I was contacted several days later that an additional $700.00 was due. I explained to both my service representative and the service manager that I paid the **** that was presented and was not going to pay any more money to Lexus of Marin. If I purchased a sweater at Macys, it would be highly doubtful they would allow days to past prior to reaching out to inform me there was an unpaid balance!Now Lexus of Marin is ta... read more

These people are not honest. We dealt with S.R., the appointment coordinator & ****** who said he was the manager. There was a preowned car we wanted to purchase. I explained we had to drive a long way and could they reserve it for us until we could get there, ***** made an appointment for us that was later than what I requested & he had me send him copies of our licenses and insurance so he could do the paperwork & have the car waiting when we got there. The ongoing saga with Lexus of Marin continues. And here we are, years later, and we are having the same issues with communication. This time, my husband went to the dealership to purchase a vehicle. He had a PO number a reputable bank he was being financed from, and was informed that he would need to fill out an application and have his credit checked in order to have the car released to him.
