They can fix almost anything, they are friendly, knowledgeable, hardworking, a personable bunch of guys, but the best of all about them is they are honest. A rare, sincere, awesome honest business. You can trust them and that seems to be a dying trait in the world. You can't do better than these guys for your vehicles.
They did not communicate with me about my car. After I paid them for what they asked they still failed to do what I asked them to do. What a waste of my time and money! Do not go here!!!
Another fine experience with Troy and his crew at Lexington Transmission. My car was going brrrrr in low gear. Turned out to be the something or other - torque converter I think - and they had to tear down the whole transmission to get to it. It was about to come apart totally, but they got it in time. While replacing it, they checked the entire transmission out and put everything back. Kinda like getting two things done for the price of one. I searched the Internet fearing I would not find a decent repair shop for my wife's brakes. I came across Lexington Transmission and their many good reviews. I called and talked to Troy and immediately felt at ease and scheduled an appointment. As I pulled the car up first thing, I noticed the repair team was mature and had a swagger of confidence. Today I was treated to a rare experience. Mr. Ballard at Lexington Transmission gave me FIVE STAR SERVICE. My daughters car had trouble and I live out of town. I, being DAD had to take it around to find a quality service center. Their cheif technition drove my car and recommended we start with a simple Transmission Service. I thought I had a transmission problem, the car ran but wouldn't move. It turned out to be the catalytic converter that I had replaced elsewhere just months before. Lexington Transmission took care of the problem, and charged fairly for the job. Troy was great - so was everyone I dealt with. I will return when I need future repairs.
