My mom was admitted to this facility almost 3 months ago. Her long-term care policy for in-home care ran out, and we could no longer afford in-home care. She had been taking a very low-dose benzodiazepine to keep her calm at times, which was working effectively. After she was admitted, she was given the same benzodiazepine, only four times a day, as she had struck out at a nurse when they woke her up in the morning and tried to change her.
