AWFUL Do not know what they are doing
Gave birth on thanksgiving, and during my stay I was extremely congested had a very bad mucus cough , I let the nurses know multiple times that I thought I come down with something I didn’t wanna get my newborn sick , I was told it was nothing it was “ the hospital air being stale “ . Well I was sent home and I’m EXTREMELY SICK!! the cough is worse and so is the mucus . I’m very disappointed that I couldn’t get proper treatment for a sickness while being in their care . 1) They will schedule you 3 hrs prior to your surgery so you can come in just to wait. I was told this is hospital policy. I could’ve worked half a day but instead I got to sit in a waiting room for hours while waiting for my husband to even be called to the back. 2) I went to try to see a provider in this network. I had to reschedule and I was told I had medical debt (which isn’t on my chart) that I was unaware of…. they claim I had debts from 5 a 7 years ago I needed to pay. Mind you….this is the Labor & Delivery division of the hospital Maeve (Action Line Operator) - she needs training, she wasn’t aware she didn’t put me on hold, yelled to the young lady I called for, and then proceeded to hang up. When I called back and disclosed my information she had nothing to say but “okay, thanks for calling”. She needs customer service training asap.
