My experience with Lexar Homes has been extremely disappointing. What started as an exciting custom home project became a frustrating process filled with poor communication, delays from poor work, and a lack of accountability. I would like to reply to the reaponse I received from Lexar regarding my review. My biggest issues with the INTERIOR, I don't understand what sun exposure has to do with interior paint .... however, on a more frustrating level is that in your response you mention that you purchase your paint and I quote " directly from Sherwin-Williams" attached are pictures of the original paint containers and I do not see Sherwin-Williams listed on the paint cans. We have been in our Lexar built home for 8 years. For the most part we are pleased with the floor plan, which we did adapt and enhance from the original, and were excited to watch our home being built. I was previously involved in the home building industry for over 25 years, so I am very familiar with the building process. I do want to caution anyone contemplating having Lexar build their "dream" home ...... the finish work leaves a lot to be desired. WOW! Everyone at the Lexar of Snohomish team is fantastic at their job, extremely organized, approachable, and very good at communication. We are so thrilled with the house Lexar built for us, it's beautiful and their high-quality work was evident throughout the whole process. I have had numerous Commercial and Residential Constructions in other states over the last 40 years. My one phone call with owner "Tracy" removed any possibility of working with this company. My project is 6 x Townhomes. I enquired as to whether they did steel framing at all. Her attitude was rude and abrupt. Additionally, nobody on this team is a General Contractor. I liken this to having the hospital cleaner supervise the heart surgeon.
