I recently stayed at the Lex Hotel and found it to be a solid choice for my trip. While it may not be a fancy boutique hotel, the location is truly a standout feature. Situated just a short walk from Gramercy Park, it offers easy access to one of the city's charming green spaces. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BRING ROACHES HOME WITH YOU!!!! I DONT even know where to begin. Let’s start with we couldnt even stay the night we had paid for. We checked in, got ready and went out for the night. Closed and locked our hotel door. Upon our return we noticed our door was not only unlocked but completely propped open. So it was apparently someone was inside of our room while we were gone. First off, our room number was a printed piece of paper that was taped to the door…. Bad room, poor service, and they were not transparent about the fact that their parking partnership can choose to honor a discount on parking, despite taking all the proper routes to validate the ticket and communicate the issue.
