Booked Lex Construction through the Clifton Home Depot referral program for a door installation. My materials were ready weeks ago, yet the earliest slot offered was July 3rd. Fine — I waited. I want to order a replacement side door for my church. It seems that the man from Lex Construction, the company that does door installations for Home Depot, let Home Depot know that they won't install the door, because I "refused" it. He said, "You don't want to replace the entire frame?" and I said no. At no point in our conversation, did he tell me that meant that they wouldn't install the door unless we replaced the side parts and the top window parts also. Absolutely terrible company. The woman who works there is so incredibly rude and unable to comprehend how someone paying for work to be done in their home typically receives a full detailed breakdown prior to a job starting. She actually got nasty with me and scoffed as I very calmly tried to understand a vague and shady estimate I was given. I booked an appointment through Home Depot. Twice the did not show up. Why would anybody use a company thats this incompetent.

Please don’t use this company. They constantly tried to add things to our scope of work, did shotty window work, dripped paint all over our wood floors, and left bubbles in the paint. They sawed into our deck and broke it in other places, then said we did it. They let construction garbage pile up, and even after I asked to have it removed… left it there for weeks after. You’ve been warned… stay away from them.
