Lewisville North Animal Clinic opened as a new business in April of 1971. The clinic was opened by Dr. Walter Legg and his wife Jean in a 600 square foot lease space north of Dalton and Son Funeral Home. In June 1974, Dr. Edward Aycock entered into partnership with Dr. Legg and construction on a new facility began. This clinic is wonderful. The staff is so knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. You can always see and feel their love for the pets they take care of. Dr Nygaard (AKA Dr Burke) is my Vet there and she is greatly educated and very personable, I've come to her with very complex physical and mental cat problems before and I love that she even thinks outside the box when helping. You can tell they really care. Dr. Burke was excellent. I love her bedside manner. I highly recommend this clinic especially for anyone with older pets.
