The fax number online is incorrect. The first time my referral did not go through. Then I called the office after several weeks of not hearing anything to find out the fax number was incorrect. I got the right fax number then had the referral re-faxed. So I call back a week later (gruff manly sounding women again) to ask if my referral come through and she had no idea because the referral employee only works 2 days a week and it was not entered in system. I was very nervous getting a gel shot today. Dr. Conrad was great. He was very reassuring and was wonderful about what to expect and how to maximize the next few days. I didn't even feel the actual injection. Great demeanor as well.

I recently had a pretty bad break in my leg, a first time for me. I was treated at Lewis Gale ER and had surgery in the orthopedic center, and was treated with excellent care the entire time. Dr Kennedy, my surgeon, was both matter-of-fact and reassuring about my condition. Another thing I noticed is that all of the nurses and practitioners had a fantastic sense of humor that lightened my mood the entirety of my stay. I wouldn’t have wanted to injure myself anywhere else.
