This place was by far the worst experience of my life. No hot water for showers, a fight for basic hygiene products, some insanely rude staff (a few genuinely kind staff too.) basically the other patients are your therapy, because groups are pretty repetitive and you mostly repeat what brought you there. So you're repeating the trauma multiple times a day. Safety checks are done every 15 minutes 24 hours a day. They would never sit and talk to me, they never believed me when I told them my brother laced my weed. It was a nightmare.
My experience this past week in the inpatient program was really good. I had alot of health problems and addiction issues they addressed and treated. The programs were good. The facility was good. The doctors were good. The nursing staff was good. The food was good. EVERYTHING WAS GOOD! If you're a whiner, complainer and look to find fault with everything, yes this place may not be for you. I was just released from this place today at noon and I must say, this place was the absolute worse experience of my whole life. I was admitted through my local CSB because I had a severe mental health crisis when I had to stop taking my Cymbalta cold turkey for 6 days due to pharmacy issues that led me on a dark road of destruction. Severe Medical Misdiagnosis & Violation of Rights I was brought to this ER in the middle of a life-threatening medical crisis caused by a toxic interaction between my daily Wellbutrin (bupropion), Effexor, and a standard dose of DXM. Wellbutrin is a known potent inhibitor that can cause DXM levels to spike to toxic, dissociative levels.
