I recently visited Tyson's Emergency Room My first interaction was with a lovely young lady at the front desk. She explained that complimentary valet parking was available, but also let me know that I could self-park in the space out front. I appreciated having the choice, as I prefer not to have others drive my vehicle, although the valet option was a nice convenience. The wait time was excellent I was seen in less than five minutes. I went to Retreat Doctor's Hospital for an outpatient procedure. I was very nervous as to I had bad luck with surgery and anesthesia in the past. My treatment was exceptional from the time I stepped in the door. The whole staff, doctors, and nurses were extremely professional, kind, and reassuring. I would highly recommend this hospital.

On Saturday, May 2nd, my husband was seen at Silver Creek for a broken wrist. All of the caregivers were calm, cheerful and so efficient. Dr. Puchi gave us great information about the fracture and did a wonderful job of realigning the bones. Laurie, Lexi, and Maria in the treatment room were amazing and the x-ray technicians, Tyler and Jessica, were as gentle as they could be while asking Bruce to position his wrist for the different angles needed and getting his MRI done. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a care facility. My boyfriend split his thumb open and we thought he needed stitches. We went to the emergency center on 460 for the nurse to basically tell us he had no idea what he was doing. Then, the dr said let's not do stitches based on the location of the cut. Gave us a band aid and sent us on our way. A few weeks later we received a bill for $889 after insurance. My boyfriend has great insurance. I personally would never go here I was brought in by ambulance and as they discharged me to home the nurse lowered rail on bed and told me to get up in wheel chair by myself and I fell and hit ground. Then she asked me if I hit my head I went straight to another hospital. Horrible

Scam, went to the ER for less than 3 hours and left in pain because they didn't do anything for me... got a bill for $23,000... Go anywhere else!

Never coming back to this location at Cave spring for care.... I came in excruciating pain for what I now know is called impacted bowel...doctor said why don't you just do an at home enema...they are simple to do. I was then embarrassed and told him I thought my condition could be serious ....he shook his head no ...after nurses gave me a regular enema it did not work and I was screaming in pain from trying to pass the impacted stools ....he stuck his head in the door and said any progress? I was seen @ Henrico Doctors on Forest & Skipwith Rd. I must give special Thanks to my nurse Becky. She had impeccable customer service skills. Special thanks to Dr. Leigh Lewis for her patience w/me. The entire Team was excellent! Arrived on time promptly admitted. I just can’t Thank the Team enough! You have been reported to the Better Business Bureau for your sleazy business practices. Incompetent, I was there on a fully referred procedure. Apparently they are too incompetent to get the "diagnostic code" correct so the insurance company isn't paying. Now they are refusing to call the insurance company back and sort it out. So now they are trying to charge me in an attempt to make me roll over and just pay. I will never go here again and will be pursuing legal action if I must.
