Contacted Mr Walker regarding my roof. Didn’t fully understand how roofing process worked. Trusted that the process would work out. Dissatisfied with the outcome. Requested that the soffits be replaced which were not, not listed in the contract. Wood that should have been replaced was not, received charges for wood that was replaced. Had a pm come out and see the spot and agreed it was a horrible piece that was left. Code allows for a 2x2 section, could have placed bigger section. Had them install metal roof over shingled roof. My shingle roof was properly vented all along the center ridge cap. They removed my vented cap and installed a metal cap with it wide open where blowing rain and mud dobbers entered my attic the entire length of my house and creating mold. I told them they can’t leave it wide open so they said their only option was to close off with solid foam strips under the cap. Now I have inadequate ventilation and more mold. I don’t recommend! There are other roofing companies in the area! Do not choose Lewis Walker Roofing!

Find a different roofing company. Poor communication, multiple pricing changes throughout the process, untrustworthy and lack of follow through.
