This company was never on time. They said they would come around 11 one day and would never show up until 5 hours later. They also waited until halfway through the day to show up and would only spend 4 hours working on the yard. They have inexperienced workers and does not seem to know what he is doing himself. On the fourth day he had an attitude when we told him we wanted the job to be completed because he wanted to come back to finish a few days later. I hired this company several years ago to put in a new yard and underground sprinkling. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!! I've had to replace EVERYTHING. Sprinklers were placed a inch from the house's foundation so all those had to be moved out in order to plant shrubs. The equipment used was a mix of poor quality items...looked like leftovers from numerous jobs. The repair people that have come out to fix and move sprinklers just shake their heads saying, "lady you sure got taken." They even didn't supply the depth of landscape... read more

Two weeks after I had Lewis' come out to look at my yard, I still did not have the estimate I was promised. I left 2 messages and finally got a return call with a quote and a time when they would start. Two weeks later I was called as they couldn't remember my address and needed to go to the house and check as to what supplies were needed. To date I have never heard another word from Lewis Lawn Sprinkling. None of my phone calls have been returned nor was the letter I sent to them acknowledged. People have actually stopped and asked me who did the landscaping in my front yard as it is so beautiful. The curved design on the brick retaining wall in front is unique and I love the bushes and shrubs chosen for decoration. Both of my side yard retaining walls I use for my flowers are just so straight and well laid that they look as good as when I first got them and its been four years. Jim is an excellent landscaper and pays attention to detail for a polished and professonal result.
