Dr. Bekeckas was wonderful. She put me at ease with my broken shoulder. Office staff personable. On time appointments.
My wife, Jeryl, was discharged from the emergency room with an elbow stress fracture. We went to Dr Levy's office the next day expecting to schedule surgery. We were greeted by Beverly the receptionist. You will never meet a more caring, helpful person. She worked Jeryl in to see Dr Levy's fellow, Dr Chatterji. What an unexpected fortunate experience. He reviewed Jeryl's films and showed them to us in a way we could understand. After which he explained his conclusion that she had been misdiagnosed and there was no fracture. ... read more
This place calls itself an “Orthopedic Institute”, but that name is completely misleading. There is nothing “institute-level” about this office — it feels like a small private practice hiding behind a fancy title. The initial consultation alone was billed at over $800 (only consultation!!!). This pricing is shocking, unjustified, and completely unreasonable. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Let me preface this review by saying that Amy is extremely rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Furthermore, these people are bottom feeding scammers! The "insurance rates" do not actually coincide with the real rate that my insurance would charge. $1,300 for a self pay rate when it's just a consultation is demented! You people should be ashamed of yourselves!
I got up at 5:45am this morning to get to the surgical center at West Boca Medical Center for a carpel tunnel surgery with Dr. Andrew Lovey. This surgery was scheduled about a month ago, and I had a pre-op visit with Dr. Lovey eight days ago. I had explained to Dr. Lovey during this visit that I will not do General Anesthesia under any circumstances, nor a LOA (it’s a device that goes in your mouth with a tube). I have my reasons.
