Let me start off by saying I had a positive experience with the doctor. I'm writing this review with a low rating to call attention to concerns I have about the management/billing of the office. My insurance says I have $100 copay. My concern is that they also said I had to pay $75 for x-rays up front. They demanded this additional money up front or they wouldn't keep my appointment. I set up an initial consultation with dr Levy. First, they had me sit in the conference room for an hour and half, then they finally took me into a room which I sat in for another hour. Finally, the doctor comes to see you for about 7 minutes, looked at the xray and sent me for an mri. When I complained and Dr Levy saw that I was furious, his reply was that he was sorry and the last six patients to longer to see. "Iam just glad I didn't keep you behind". Dr. Lovy and his PA were fantastic. Zero wait in the waiting room and exam room, which I appreciated.
I came here for chronic shoulder pain in 2025. The first time I met with Sara she was amazing. She spent time to listen and was quite likeable. Sara gave me an injection that immediately took all my pain away and I slept pain free for the first time in almost a year. I went for a follow up and to get a second injection. I was told I would have to come back in two weeks to get the injection, rendering the appointment a non-event. Both the follow up and injection could have occurred at the same time. Receptionists are pleasant for check-in purposes. I’ve always been seen right at my appointment time with no unnecessary waiting. Medical assistants who confirm your medications, weight, etc. before being seen by Physician’s Assistant are pleasant. Sara Blum, the physician’s assistant is abrupt, curt, harried and rushed. I get the feeling she believes herself to be the doctor and seems impressed with her own importance.
