He diagnosed my daughter and got her the help that she needed.
Dr levinsohn has been helping my family for over 20 years through multiple generations. He is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. He cares very deeply for his patients and it shows. He always tries to help and always means well. He takes his time trying to figure out the best course of action and learning about everyone's situation. The environment is so welcoming and it's always nice to see him. He is a bit hard of hearing so he often miss hears people so you might have to repeat things a little louder.
Extremely dissapointed. I found this doctor through my pediatrician. He came highly recommend. Unfortunately, I coparent with a narcissist. The other parent hyjacked my child's appointments and stopped telling me about them. Also then convincing the doctor I am an absent mother. My daughter has been seeing Dr. Levinsohn since she was seven years old. He was an absolute godsend to us. The only problem is that now she’s away at college in another state, and it’s impossible to get a hold of the office. I have been trying for six days now!. The answering service refuses to take a message or just ask them to call me back. She will now be out of her medication in the next three days. They’re not in the office now until Monday. The doctor likes to over Medicaid children. He puts young pediatric kids on doses that are even high for high school students. Will increase medication off of a phone call instead of actually meeting with the child to find out more going on.
A caregiver extradinaire. Limitless knowledge and compassion. Gives time, patience and expertise. Truly a healing soul. We and our child have been cared for by a genuine doctor. Not a assembly line style medicine operation.
Dr. Levinsohn has been our DD son's neurologist for 30 years due to a seizure disorder and we have had nothing but positive experiences with him in and out of the hospital. His staff is extremely efficient and friendly. Sometimes you may have to wait a while to see him, but it's only because he takes his time with his patients, never rushes them, and always fits in emergencies. It is quite obvious that he truly cares about his patients and their families.
