Nasty for no reason! The pharmacist behind the pharmacy counter, in the back of the store at Levin's Oceanside pharmacy, responded to me in a very nasty and loud voice when I asked if they sell an amino acid called N-ACETYL CYSTEINE. This amino acid is safe and FDA approved for sale over the counter. I've bought it everywhere without any problem. N-acetyl cysteine is used to counteract acetaminophen and carbon monoxide poisoning.
