I have recently had an occasion to work with the FIrm on a significant matter over the last nine (9) months or so, and I felt it was appropriate to write this review. Frankly, I was more than a little surprised to see several reviews posted several weeks ago, allegedly made by three separate reviewers. Clearly the worst IP firm in Palo Alto. Sure they are small and cheap but you will end up paying in time and money. This firm managed to screw up every aspect of our filings resulting in a worthless patent and significant loss of precious capital and time. Venture firms, Angel investors, Stanford and local incubators will NOT recommend this firm and I only wish I would have know that prior to engagement! Contact WSGR or DLA Piper.
TERRIBLE IP FIRM! Yes this small understaffed firm is cheap but you get what you pay for and in this case it may cost you your business. The patents and due diligence work this firm provided were VERY POOR QUALITY and we ended up having to refile all our patents with another real law firm WSGR. Stanford, UC Berkeley and all the top Venture capital groups, and Incubators recommend NOT USING THIS FIRM! I just wish I would have know that before wasting a great deal of time and capital.
As a seasoned inventor and entrepreneur with over 100 issued patents I have used many of the leading Bay area IP firms and all I can say is run away from this Firm as fast as you can! My experience was and continues to be dismal. The work, time delays, failure to communicate and overbilling is rampant.
