I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my experience at L’evation was concerning enough that I feel it should be shared. The salon appeared extremely unsanitary — tools did not seem to be properly cleaned between clients, stations were left dirty, and overall hygiene practices felt very questionable. I visited this salon with my sister so she can get her hair done, and as I observed the experience of this salon, I don’t think I also want to come here to cut my hair. The staffs energy is not at all professional. I noticed one of the hairstylist’s (who seems that she is the OWNER of the salon) and I saw that she left tissues that she used to blow her nose and placing the dirty tissues on top of the station she was using meanwhile there was a client right in front of her. Do not go to. Ella Ferrick.I’ve had good experiences at this salon before, which is why this visit was so disappointing. I came in asking for a blended bob with soft, gradual movement. Instead, I received a cut that resembled disconnected, step-down layers, with the back longer and heavier than the front and a blunt, bowl-like perimeter. This was my first time getting my hair cut by Ella and she did such an amazing job! I often go into hair appointments with a general idea but unsure exactly what I want. Ella and I collaborated on the style and I ended up getting a chop, layers, face framing and curtain bangs. I absolutely love how my hair turned out and appreciated her guidance on what would suit me best. She is the sweetest and I’ve heard from others that she’s excellent at hair extensions!
