Cookies are $4 but they're huge. Moist inside and perfectly baked outside. Bring a lot of friends and try them all.
Take the F to the East side around 6:30, then tear through Central Park, throw yourself the correct number of avenues over, and arrive sweaty and glowing at 6:59PM and STILL GET A COOKIE.
Frank Bruni recommends the small flatbread pizzas in his New York Diet, in particular one that pairs "a bevy of caramelized onions and very nice Parmigiano Reggiano."
