RecommendedMy father put a VX-2 2X7 on his 30-06 in the late 60’s. After 40 years of use and abuse on that rifle I decided to change the scope. I replaced it with a Leupold Rifleman scope in 3x9. I couldn’t be more happier. Gave a new life to my old rifle. I’m hoping that this scope will last another 40 years like the previous one. And there still isn’t anything wrong with the VX2,2x7.
All my optics have been changed to leupold. Binoculars, and multiple scopes. They have taken my abuse and never let me down yet!

My parents gave me a VX2 scope 19 years ago. The only scope I’ve ever had that doesn’t lose its zero. I put it on my rifle when I got it, I set it in and haven’t touched it since. Shot it today and it’s still putting bullets on target like it did 19 years ago when I zeroed it. Can’t beat a Leupold.
You can’t beat the value and durability.Why spend good money for a rifle to put a cheap scope on it. A friend of mine said it best you don’t put a Volkswagen emblem on a Cadillac
