The Lette Salted Caramel macaron is the single best macaron I have found anywhere in the world. As important, Lette's customer service is superb. (After FEDEX could not deliver a gift box of macarons three days in a row to an office building in the greater Los Angeles area (building problem, not FEDEX), Zac at Lette took it upon himself to deliver a new batch to the building himself (50 minute round trip) and somehow got it into the hands of our client. Truly "above and beyond" service.)

Big Mistake. Don't even think about ordering macarons for shipment from Paulette. After paying $34 for shipping for $36 worth of macarons, I waited until they arrived via overnight Federal Express shipping. Unfortunately, every macaron had its filling melted. The melted fillings all blended together into a gooey mess in the plastic box that they were in. The cookie part of the macarons self-destructed on contact. I prefer Gourmandise Paris. I like paulette but what i prefer is the store across Paulette Gourmandise Paris, they sell my favorite French favor Dragee. IT is almond with a coat of sugar and chocolate A must eat Check http://www.gourmandiseparis.com
