I don't normally write reviews, but I had a great experience at Lester's Shop. I went around to a few other mechanic shops like Reliable Automotive and Good Year. These other places wanted to charge $100+ just for a quick 5 min diagnostic. Lester's was very straightforward with me as to what they thought was the problem over the phone, and didn't charge me a single thing for a diagnostic. They don't upcharge on the parts and have a very fair pricing model, and were able to diagnose the issue and change all my spark plugs for... read more

This was my daughter's second experience at Lester's. It is the best repair shop I've been to since I moved to Texas 8 years ago (I've tried several in the Houston area and 2 in San Marcos). My daughter's brake sensor cracked causing her brake lights to remain in the "on" position. We pulled in thinking we would have to leave her car, but Allen immediately assisted us.
