I want to thank Leslie’s for making it very easy to decide never to shop there again. During a recent visit, I was subjected to overt political propaganda playing over the store’s radio—content praising a controversial political figure and pushing an unmistakable partisan agenda. When I asked about it, staff confirmed it was the corporate channel and out of their control. That tells me everything I need to know. Went in today to pick up some safety equipment for the pool. The people working there were not exactly happy to see me. The first guy avoided looking at me when I said hello, but did manage a glare in response. I’m not sure what internal stimuli he was responding to. The guy who “helped” me was Alex who seemed angry the entire time, didn’t offer any advice, practically threw the things that I asked for at me, and was generally unpleasant to be around.
