Edited review: After a few more months of dealing with this Dr. (and some of her staff), I am forced to change our review to a 1 star. Her staff called us late on a (nice) Friday and canceled an appointment saying something about "I'm not certified for this exam) yet the lol on the face of the receptionist when I brought it up told me differently. I was in the ER in Redmond after a car accident and worsening symptoms. The Dr told me to follow up with primary care after seeing something concerning in my neck MRI (unrelated to the accident). I went to see Leslie McCallister following that ER visit. I informed her of my MRI and my mother’s history with MS (the ER Dr said this was concerning) she immediately thought I was crazy I could tell. So, I saw all these negative reviews, and was prepared to write a dissenting review. From my experience with her interactions with my elderly mother, I think she is an excellent physician. However, I am not so sure about the staff and office. My mom, who has dementia and aphasia, was in the office over a week ago. We told her we needed more of one of my mom's medications, and we were told they would be called in. A week later, I called again, and it was STILL not handled. Upon reading these negative reviews on Dr. McCalister, I am pretty certain these are her patients personal problems, certainly not based around Dr. McCalister's expertise. This doctor goes well beyond the call of duty to fully understand, first and foremost, her patient's concerns, listening intently, and then offers the best approach to explain and treat whatever condition(s) one may have.
