Dr. Barnes has a great bedside manner and easily explains the condition and the necessary intervention. I am very impressed with her work and would highly recommend.
I broke my ankle in a car accident. Dr. Barnes was the orthopedic on call at the hospital. I ended up having 14 surgeries getting MRSA almost every time. Had to go home with a port for antibiotics. I felt like a lab rat she was practicing on. Who has this many surgeries and they get infected 5 times. I almost lost my foot. Thanks to my primary care physician the last infection she said your not going back to her. Excellent. Dr Barnes was professional and had a great bedside manner. She explained everything and took her time with me.
Ms Barnes surgically installed a plate for my broken wrist. The screws were too long and intruded into my tendons; whereby, causing much discomfort and immobility of my fingers. After 5 months of communicating this information to Ms Barnes, she sent me to a hand specialist. The problem was corrected by removing the plate and screws but the damage to my hand and fingers are irreversible.
Dr. Barnes is one of the best Orthopedic Surgeons in the Florida Panhandle. She is informative knowledgeable, very caring and compassionate. She takes her time to listen and explain, she knows her stuff! I have the highest regards for Dr. Leslie Barnes.
Dr. Barnes put my ankle back together after a bad car accident. She did an amazing job.
She was very thorough and did the best of her ability to keep my best interest in mind. The surgery went great and I don't think anybody could have done a better job.
