Fooled a Woman, Wow – I went to Les Schwab to change my wheels from an expensive sport wheel (I know now I should've sold them, but they were from my ex), to a regular wheel. I purchased generic hub caps at that time. They began to peel within a year. Later, my mechanic informed me that they had been duck taped on. I have never had a bad experience with Les Schwab and have always been impressed by their honest, almost chivalrous service. But I'll never go back to the Broadway store. For shame!
What happened to the free tire repair? We took our car to the Les Schwab on NE Broadway for a quick tire repair. They removed a screw from the tire and charged us $15. Service was quick and friendly, but it used to be free. Guess it's another casualty of the economy.
Now I'm wondering... – I got a flat on October 1. After roadside assistance put the spare on, I drove to Les Schwab. They told me I needed four new tires. The funny thing was, I had just had my car at the dealership for the 5000 mile service, which is supposed to include tire inspection. So I called the dealership and talked to my rep who insisted that she had done that inspection herself and that my tires were fine. But the Les Schwab rep was insisting that I needed four new tires. I knew they would need to be replaced soon... read more
Awful Experience!! Don't Trust Them! – I had a very strange experience with Les Schwab Tires on NE Broadway in Portland. It happened a couple of years ago, but I want to put it on the record. I brought my car to Les Schwab to have my studded snow tires taken off and replaced with my regular tires. My regular tires were in my trunk when I drove in. I took a walk with my toddler while they were switching out the tires. When I returned, however, they told me that they had removed my snow tires but that they could not put on my ... read more
Best customer service EVER – Les Schwab has long been a benchmark in customer service and my latest trip there was no exception. I work in a customer service job and these guys and ladies put me to shame. I don't think it even took 30 minutes from the time I pulled in to getting 4 tires put on and I was back on the road. The prices are pretty good as well. I will always go to Les for tires and brakes.
Great service and FREE – My car was towed to this Les Schwab the day after Xmas, due to a flat tire. They fixed the tire within three hours, as promised, and free of charge! Couldn't have been easier.
Les Schwab = amazing service – I feel that my experience at the particular Les Schwab is comparable to the service at all of their establishments. Exceptional. I have had 2 flat tires in less than a month, and the closest tire place, both times was Les Schwab. Both times, I was extremely stressed out at the situation (needing to be somewhere etc.) and both times I was greeted the second I walked in the door, immediately taken care of and my car put in line to be worked on. This particular time, I was there right when they op... read more
Horrible Service – I went to this Les Schwab after the one in the NW said the patched a flat but actually just filled the tire with air and sent me on my way. They recommended I get 4 new tires even though 2 of the 4 are brand new and have less than 5,000 miles on them. They also patched a tire that was torn on the sidewall which is actually illegal by law because it is so dangerous. I went to another tire place two days later and they said the patch had already fallen off. I am very particular about the brand of tires I buy... read more
