My dad took his vehicle in and he did very well. He did not charge us a penny because I am his grandson.
This is a very old-school repair shop, bring cash and don't expect free wifi, free refreshments, and a waiting lounge. The owner does everything himself. I brought an alternator out of my 1985 Corvette. After testing and confirming that it was indeed dead, he told me it would be $70 and be ready in a couple hours. When I picked up the alternator, it was rebuilt AND upgraded to a higher amperage rating (108A to 120A). He did not ask for extra money. I'll be back for alternator and starter rebuilding when such need arises.
