Very disappointing. I am recovering from multilevel anterior/posterior lumbar surgery. I had an incident that resulted in an immediate and serious setback, and my spine surgeon sent me to Dr. Katharine Leppard for an EMG to check nerve function in my legs. I told her [directly from my daily log entries] what had happened and what symptoms had appeared. Was called the day prior for a 1030 appointment and a 1000 show. Got there and was told my appointment was at 9am with an 8:45 show. Seemed strange to me when the person told me yesterday I had to be there 30 minutes prior but I showed at 1000 only to be told my appointment was earlier . I have many medical appointments and I’ll tell you Dr Leppard’s office is absolutely poor in communication. Most places will email or text with appointment information. Dr. Leppard was very kind and informative. She explained every thing on the screen and the different nerves she was testing. 10/10 would recommend.
Dr. Leppard is one of the most competent doctors I’ve seen. I injured my ulnar nerve in a freak accident. I’ve dealt with this issue for a while now and was nervous about the EMG. She was informative and kind as she went through my testing. Even gave me literature about my issues and talked with me about treatment options from her perspective. And she made sure the results were sent to my doctor and that I had an extra copy in case my doctor didn’t receive it.
