Christina Chavez review for Lepow Foot & Ankle Specialists

I have been a patient of Dr Lepow for years. I was very happy with services until today. I never had any issues with services all billing even with having a foot surgery. I go in today for what I thought was a simply appointment for foot fungus. Had my vitals taken put in a room and explained I have toe fungus. Dr came in looked at my nails explained a new cream and the in house cost then began clipping my nails. I never explained why or that I was going to be charged for what the call a procedure. I go to check out, already paid my $50 copay n was informed I had a prior balance of $50 from 2 years ago. Ok, then was explained I was being charged $160 for a procedure. Naturally I'm like "What procedure" the young lady then explains since I have a deductible the procedure falls under my deductible. I'm still confused, basically "the biopsy" of toe nails is what I'm being charged for. Wow, I was never explained why he was clipping my nails or that he was even going to do that I was never explained they were going to be performing a biopsy on toe nails. As a patient I now feel like the Dr performed an unnecessary as they call "procedure"
