I went to Leo's Friday for lunch after seeing the specials board out front, they were offering a fried shrimp platter for 8.95, I like shrimp and it is hard to find downtown, so in I went, what I got was a plate with 7 large shrimp, breaded & fried golden brown, not over cooked, french fries,cole slaw and garlic toast, a lot of food for the price, and the shrimp was very good, I will definately return to Leo's again, and I will be sure to let people know about this hidden little gem,
I went to Leo's for my first time today as a trial run for restaurants within walking distance for work. I got the special, Chicken with Yellow Rice and Garlic Toast and the service was friendly and quick. However, for $8 I would expect the food to be cooked properly, the little chicken it had in it was nice all white meat, but the rice was overcooked and the garlic toast lacked garlic and was more like mush than toast.
