2 years ago I started my VW Beetle project I wanted to put a Mazda rotary engine and push the car too the extreme. I quickly came unstuck for 2 reasons the first problem was people didn't share the same vision as I did and secondly very few shops had the skill to undergo this work but when I walked into Leon's Motors I was greeted with a wild turbochargered boxer engine trike making 500hp I knew I was in the right shop. Been going to Leon’s Motors with my T3. Always had exceptional customer service. They have always listened to my concerns with the van and completed to the work with pride, they know VW’s. They have never tried to upsell, or repair/replace something that didn’t need doing. However, always offered advice to when I should look further into something that may need attention later. I'm usually pretty handy with the basic stuff keeping my 60+year old Beetle and 50+year old trike on the road but Mick is amazing at the technical and big fix stuff... and appreciate so much that he pulled out all stops for an emergency fix during the day to get a shift worker sorted out in time to go to work that night...
Went to Leon’s for the first time since my old VW mechanic closed. These guys are excellent. Michael was very generous with his time talking through everything my ‘77 Kombi Daisy needed, and was conscious of my finances, explaining what needed to be done now and what could wait a few months. Service was really timely, and they had all the parts at the shop, including a new exhaust (she runs much quieter now)! Would absolutely recommend Leon’s to anyone with a vintage VW. Thanks again guys - Daisy is running like a charm.
