I have had several close calls in my life, however, I never felt as well protected as I was with Dr. Leone and his team. I first met this team in 2017 and then in 2025. I had Dr. Leone perform knee replacements on both knees. The right knee in 2015 and left knee in 2018. I had knee pain for decades and now I have none. Last summer (2021), I hiked 192 miles in 12 days on the Appalachian Trail with zero pain. I have recommended several people over the past 7 years. I would never use anyone else.
i had serious knee trouble right after the total knee replacement. I had 8 months of PT which didnt solve the many problems resulting from the tkr. Dr Leone did not know what to do about it from the very beginning and after a year and two months still has no resolution. It is a mystery how a robotic assisted knee replacement can have a worse result and more discomfort than before the surgery. It’s been almost 4 months since I had a total right hip replacement by Dr. Leone and I am nearly back to perfect. I lost the horrid pain and limp almost immediately. His PA Tammy was amazing, if I had any questions or concerns she would call me back within minutes…she was incredibly patient with me. Dr Leone did a total hip replacement on me in 2009. Still have pain..all the time…that I live with. Have to see a pain management Dr because of it. Went back to Dr Leone twice, after a year and after 4 years. At 4 years he said there’s a little loosening but that’s normal. He then folded his hands, looked at me and said, “There’s nothing more I can do for you”.
Dr Leone as well as his support staff stand far above any previous experience. After a failed knee replacement 7 months ago and a disappointing experience with the surgeon I met Dr Leone and he performed a revision of my knee surgery. 7 months of excruciating pain day and night and Dr Leone removed the new knee and replaced it. One hour after coming out of recovery room and I felt sore but the Pain that I lived with for so long was no longer. Dr. Leone took marvelous care of me. I had a new hip and I am out of that horrible pain and recovering nicely. I would recommend him highly. His staff is most professional and caring.
