Avoid Leonard's like the plague. This company has the worst customer service dept I have ever dealt with. I bought a $9,000 mower from them and I have been lied to and hung up on. I've had nothing but problems w/ them. I dealt w/ a person by the name of Don who was useless, rude, and not knowledgeable about anything. This store is an absolute joke. I don't know how they stay in business.
So sad to see Leonards having deteriorated so badly. To the owner. . . PLEASE sort out your staff. They do not know the concept of 'customer Service" . . . you deserve better from them; and your customer demand better. Although several of my colleagues had moved down the road to ABC in River Oaks some time ago, I have tried to stay loyal. LEONARDS HAS EARNED THE TOP PRIZE FOR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, EVER! It's sad that they are wrecking the good name of the Leonard family of Fort Worth. When I went in, I had planned on spending in excess of a grand for a new Echo weedeater and chainsaw. This is the biggest ripoff in Ft. Worth. 1st I identified what I wanted fixed upfront. Came time to fix they tried to tell me other stuff was broke to the sum of 550.00 I said no just fix what I wanted fix. The guy got made because I would not let him do the additional work and ask to speak to a manager he slam the phone down on the counter and I waited 5 min. for the manager which was as rude as they get. Buyer beware – This is not the place I used to know when it was downtown. I took my echo trimmer to this place to be repaired on the 6th day of march it is now the 5th of april and they just told me it is still not fixed.This is the worst experence I have ever had with any place.The counter guys have to be the rudist people I have ever met I will not purchase anything from them ever again. If you do any kind of buisness with leonards good luck to you
Horrible Service - Rude Staff – I have a tree service and have been in business for 20 years. When I need parts for my saws, I gladly avoid Leonards if possible. The manager is belligerent. The counter staff is knowledgeable, but things like giving me the contractor discount are frowned upon. Beware this place! – Awful customer service. Do NOT buy any machinery or accessories for your machinery here. They refuse to let you return it, even if it's defective or doesn't work for your machine. They sold me a very expensive accessory for my mower and did not tell me that it wouldn't work as intended for my model mower. Leonard's Farm & Ranch – Went there for some parts for my Cub Cadet 123 Hydrostatic drive lawn tractor built in the 60's. They had the parts I needed in stock & at a fair price. The counterman was very knowledgable about my tractor & new just what I needed & how to perform the maintenance I was going to do. He even offered to help me carry my stuff to the car.
