RecommendedI’d taken my pets to 3 other Vet Hospitals in town before I landed at Dr. John Sykes’s office. I’m so grateful to finally find a veterinarian who truly feels compassion for his patients and respect for their owners. My dog Daisy had been diagnosed with cancer by a vet in Wilson, NC prior to us moving back to Wilmington so I made an appointment with Dr. Sykes to have the diagnosis confirmed and to discuss treatment. Dr Sykes explained everything in detailed and covered all options and answered questions for upcoming dental surgery as well as bad gastro intestinal problems my chihuahua Pepy was having and she got better very quickly. Very friendly staff and fair prices as well as efficient and effective service. Thank you.
Dr. Sykes and his staff are wonderful. I have been using them for about 20 years. Thaey have taken care of my dogs and cats to the best of my expectations. Recently I had a cat I took in to have checked. Turned out he had kidney failure. They got him where I could take him home. Sorry to say, 3 days later, well , he is no longer with us. My puppy Harley had her first vet appointment on Saturday. She is only 8 weeks old Dr. K did a wonderful job with her as I knew he would. Just like he had done in the past with my other dogs. If you are looking for a great vet this is the place! 😊💗
My pets have been going there for about 35 years! I wouldn’t take them anywhere else! We love our Dr. K!! 💖
My dog seems to think it is like home! The Staff, Dr. Kiloran and Sykes both are wonderful and very in tune with your pets and their needs.
Dr Sykes and his staff are great. I adore how happy they are to see my pup when she comes in. Dr Sykes truly loves animals and it shows. I wouldn’t take my sweet girl anywhere else.
