He has represented a couple people in family in the past (he's been doing it for a long time). I got a drug possession charge out of county and he took care of it and was flexible with my situation. He also dismissed my DWLI. The office is bilingual and he makes sure you understand everything that you need to. Good lawyer
I guess my experience with Leonard has been different than the other reviewers. I was appointed Mr. Martinez from jail and he ended up helping me get out on a PR bond, when I have a record a mile long, because he did his due diligence and hired private investigators (as my court appointed attorney). DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER. This lawyer will not answer your phone calls, show up in court, and communicate with you about your case. What his office will do is take your money, divert your calls and concerns, be rude to their clients and not work on your case. This lawyer needs to be reported to the bar and is extremely unethical. I don't care how desperate you are, you are better off representing yourself which is extremely inadvisable but better than this attorney. Do not lose your life or your money with this attorney.
There is no doubt hes a former veteran and lawyer for years. I hired him for 2 cases in combination. One of them he didnt show up and got convicted later anyway. The other charge was felony and he didnt even work on it as it was officially dismissed due to being not billed by state.. He didnt tell me it was dismissed FROM the state (not him) until i found out from pretrial services 2 months later... He probably didnt tell me so i can keep paying him the amount due..
