I have a disorder known as Angieodema, it's inflammation of blood cells. Very rare, Oshners medical team jumped into action the moment I pulled up in the ER. They took a situation, at any other hospital in Houma (no names) would have been critical, and managed to control it getting out of control. Thank you to the nurses that had to sit in my doorway to watch over me at night. Which allowed my husband to be with me in a regular room when I should have went to ICU, where no one could. On behalf of South Terrebonne High School, I would like to thank the group of volunteers who helped on campus August 3. Despite high humidity and heat, the group worked nonstop to get our campus ready for the new year.
The place is totally different than it use to be ,the environment, the people working there, they always did have good Doctors but checking in the wait time ,takeing test everything is so much faster,even blood work in and out there ,everything is Great the only negative thing that i could say is about the parking not enough but it like that at most hospitals they should have more handycap parking by the Acc clinic and infront the hospital .Even in side the hospital looks cleaner .Overall great job.
I think the staff and the doctors are great. They work hard to find out what is wrong. And they work even harder to help you get better. I have been going there for over 2 years. And I live in laplace , la.
Yesterday my ortho appt was for 12:30. I was there on time. The Dr got called in to surgery. When he came back, people who had later appointments were seen before me. I left the hospital at 5. Very upset.
It was fantastic I had really good service still in pain today but I can bear with it it was really fast thank you. Dr Phillip paulk np Sydney burchfield & staff
I think people should check it out. The only problem I have is getting an appointment rescheduled or a month earlier. eg I need to be seen by a doctor before the end of June, but they schedule me for the middle of July.
