Leon Hodes MD Dr Leon Hodes is ver busy but does a thorough exam. Helpful office staff. Most testing is done in the office. I can only wish that there were more doctors like Doctor Hodes. Everyhing is handled promptly by his staff Occassionally the wait can be a bit long but he is a doctor in demand and accommodates emergencies and related interruptions by other patients.
A good Doctor I never write reviews like this, but Dr. Hodes deserves a great write up. He helped me with a severe medical problem that was misdiagnosed by my prior doctor. He is compassionate, and caring, and explains the issues at hand.

One of the best/Dr Hodes One of the best Docs in New York for sure. Makes going to the doctor not a hassle. Takes most insurance, easy parking, pleasant atmosphere. Does a thorough medical interview and examination.

Excellent Doctor! Dr. Leon was my doctor for many years while I lived in East Rockaway. Never had a problem, he is courteous, compassionate, good sense of humor (important when you're not feeling well )...professional, intelligent and gives excellent care. His staff is also as caring and professional and I just couldn't find anyone to replace them when I moved to North Carolina, I would go up to be seen by them every few months for about 2 years. Dr Hodes Dr Hodes is our Internist for the last few years. The office is organized, clean, and office stAFF courteous. The doctor is usually available for same day appointments, and he also has nurse practitioners who are good. We always have had a good experience with Dr. Hodes, ans his diagnosis and treatment are aaccurate.
A pleasant experience Superb doctor. My internist retired so I switched to Doctor Hodes. I am content, he treats me well, the office is organized, and friendly.
Doctor Leon Hodes Internal Medicine I must agree with the other reviews here on this site. What a super doc. My family has visited Doctr Hodes for several years, and we really appreciate the friendly staff, and the pleasant atmosphere. Even the Doctr does not seem to be in a rush. He has late hours during the week, whicj=h is convenient since I work during the week.
