Dr. Specter is clinically a great spine specialist and also takes the time to answer all of a patient's questions.
Very up front about your issues and options
I was in pain for over a year, trying PT, spinal injections, medication, etc. for my spinal stenosis. I could perform hardly any tasks without severe lumbar pain radiating down my buttocks and thighs. Dr Specter performed a bilateral laminectomy and foraminectomy in January, 2022. Within a week, I had no pain! 6 weeks later, I am able to do housework, yard work, walk 3-4 miles per day with no pain! I feel like a new person. I highly recommend this surgeon if you need spinal surgery!
Dr. Spector is awesome. I was having increasing pain in my lower back. Turns out I have spondylolisthesis… a condition that can’t be physically corrected without surgery.
